Object Name Suit
Description One lady's 3-piece suit. The jacket and skirt are made of a bright blue heavy nubby cotton fabric. The short box jacket has a lapel collar, loose 3/4 length sleeves, and no fasteners in front. It is lined with a blue and white silk fabric which has a design of crests and musical terms. The straight skirt has four darts in the front and back, a 6" deep slit in back with an extra flap sewn beneath it, and a side zipper closure. The skirt is lined with a solid blue rayon/silk fabric. The sleeveless blouse is made of the same material as the jacket lining with a V-neck, a fitted band at waist, and fabric-covered buttons down the back. Label at jacket neck : "Exclusively handmade by Modesto, P.O. Box 5054, S. Miramar Arcade, Kowloon H.K. [Hong Kong]." A red embroidered name tag (Viola R. Campbell) is sewn in the front side.
