Object Name Painting
Description Small watercolor landscape painting by Frank C. Bracy of depicting a southward view from Observation Hill to the northwest of Duluth, Minnesota. Two bridges run above the edge of the bay, along side a dock, in the foreground. One bridge is a rail bridge, and a train is shown traveling along it. Several ships are in the bay. Smoke rises from a smokestack on the point near the center of the frame. Superior City is shown in the background on the left. "No. 4," and "Looking south from Hill (about 700 or 800 ft. high) N.W. of Duluth, Minn. L.S. Superior City to the left in the distance and saw mill in middle distance," are handwritten on the verso.
