Object Name Painting
Description Five small watercolor landscape painting by Frank C. Bracy of Lake Superior's Pictured Rocks, on a single sheet of cardstock. Three views are on the recto, and two are on the verso. Grand Portal is depicted from three different angles on the recto, with the caption, "'Grand Portal', 'Pictured Rocks,' L.S. July, 1880, 185 ft. high." The paintings on the verso are labeled, "Archway in Pictured Rocks, near waterfall, July 1880, 5:30 P.M.," and "July 1880, 'Pictured Rocks,' just past Grand Portal coming down, 5 P.M." "No. 1 5 sketches," is also handwritten on the verso.
