Description Hand-painted advertisement on heavy cardstock for the Boomer Company painted by William Winterer or Herman G. Jahnke, both of Walker and Company. The sign depicts a snow-covered home in a snowy field, surrounded by the text "Winter is coming. Order Coal now. The Boomer Co. TE-2-5050." A National Competition and Exhibition of Outdoor Advertising entry form has been affixed to the verso of the board:

However, "Artist: Wm. Winterer, A.D.: Herman G. Jahnke," has also been handwritten on the verso, and "9-46," is handwritten in the corner of the entry form, but "10-40" is handwritten on another label affixed to the verso suggesting that perhaps the Boomer advertisement was painted over the Common Wealth Bank one.
