Object Name Print, Photographic
Description Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing an interior view of a 2-story brick building. The building has an industrial purpose as indicated by the steel overhead beam and steel column as well as the lifting block and hook that can be seen in the background. It might be a new electrical substation for the Edison Illuminating Company. Two large pieces of electrical machinery are being uncrated and assembled in the foreground. The name of the manufacturer, "General Electric Company," is stamped on the base of the machine at the right. It appears that this building is similar to one that is shown in photo 1933.082.008, but the window configuration is slightly different.
