Object Name Print, Photographic
Description Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing a front corner view of a newly-constructed 2-story brick building. The building has decorative brickwork along the top, at the corners, and around the front windows. Possibly, it was a new electrical substation (Woodbridge Street?) for the Edison Illuminating Company. Construction materials and debris can be seen on the ground around the building foundation. Three workers are standing at the corner on the left side of the photo and a construction worker is standing beside an open manhole and a handcart near the center. A winch that is used for pulling underground cables through conduits can be seen at the far right side of the photo.
