Description Print. Black and white copy of a photographic print captioned, "wood arm forward," depicting a man demonstrating a mechanism to change streetlight bulbs in a fenced yard behind several buildings. The street light has a pivoting arm, attached to a pulley on the pole, which has allowed the light to be lowered into the grasp of a man wearing a suit and bowler hat. The light fixture has a conical top. Two counter-weights are on the opposite end of the arm. Another street light, consisting of a pole with a topped with a fixture beneath a similar conical cap is in the background.
