Object Name Print, Photographic
Description Black and white photograph taken in the main dining room of the Russell House. Tables beneath white table clothes, and surrounded by leather upholstered chairs are set up throughout the room. Against the wall on the left, a row of archways extend into small alcoves that each contain a single dining table. A wooden railing, topped with a potted plant, extends across half of the opening beneath each arch. Tables with wash basins and high chairs flank the openings beneath each arch. Wooden columns with an octagonal bases supports a ceiling beam. China is displayed along the tops of the molding around the room. A chandelier composed of antlers and the carved figure of a mermaid is hung overhead to the left of the center of the frame. The stairway from photo 1976.016.018 is visible through the door in the background on the right. "Main Room, Old Russell House Cafe," is printed on a label affixed to the verso.
