The conduits in the duct bank appear to be arranged 3 horizontally and 5 vertically. A circular form is centered on the trench in the foreground for construction of a manhole. On the left side of the photo, piles of excavated earth, pipe sections, and various construction materials can be seen as well as houses and a sidewalk. A man is standing beside one of the piles of excavated earth. In the center background area, four boys are at play, a man is walking, and a man is standing beside a bicycle. Several construction workers can be seen in the distance. Also on the right are houses as well as stacks of pipe sections, bricks, and other construction materials.
