Two blast furnaces produce 1,000 tons of pig iron daily, and storage buns hold 2,000,000 tons of iron ore. Here is operated this largest foundry in the world, pouring 1,800 tons of castings daily. Coke ovens produce 1,600 tons of coke per day besides 400 tons of by-products such as benzol, ammonium sulphate, tar, oil, etc. 50 miles of railroad tracks are within the plant boundaries.
