One of the delightful features is its Log Cabin with its quaint furniture. It has many acres of woods, children's playgrounds and a casino where refreshments are served. Printed on verso: The Casino is one of the place maintained by the Department of Parks and Recreation on Belle Isle to provide refreshment for many who visit this world famous park. From its verandas is seen the pleasure and commercial traffic on the Detroit River which ranges from the small motor boat or sailing craft to the large ferry boats and ocean going freighters, with the Canadian shoreline as a background. To the west is the structural mass that is downtown Detroit. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 29, 1945.

Casino, Belle Isle is in the Detroit River between Detroit and Windsor, Canada. The Island contains 702 acres and is entirely covered with one of the most beautiful parks in the United States, having some 21 miles of macadam roads; a magnificent Casino, Pavilions, Boat Houses, Aquarium, Horticultural Hall and Zoological Gardens. The island was purchased by Detroit in 1879, and has since then expended $1,600,000 in beautifying it. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Sep 4, 1922.

Printed on verso: The Dietsche Auto Sight Seeing cars afford visitors a most comfortable and inexpensive way of taking a trip around the city, Belle Isle and Water Works Park. The trip takes two hours and a competent lecturer accompanies each car explaining all the principal points of interest as the car passes. This Company has the most commodious and best equipped cars in the city, and are capable of taking care of Convention Delegates or Tourist Parties, for which cars can be reserved in advance. This view shows part of the equipment returning froma trip around Belle Isle with two of the 35-passenger Packard
