Handwritten text in black ink on the verso shows "Tampa, Oct. 11/'92. Dear Madge, We arrived all safe. We were glad to receive your postal card. Mother's cough is all gone already. Give our love and kind regards to all. From Pa."

The Detroit postmark is dated March 31, 1887. Handwritten text in black ink on the verso shows "Tampa, Florida, 3-28/'87. Dear Madge, We will start tomorrow morning. Will telegraph. Harry all well. H.M. [Henry Maybury]."

Handwritten text in black ink on the verso shows "Chattanooga, 9/'92. Dear Madge and Irene, We arrived here this morning. All OK. Start for Atlanta this afternoon. Love to all. H.M. [Henry Maybury]."

The sender was "Henry Maybury, Port Tampa City, Florida." The receiver was "Hon. William C. Maybury, Detroit, Mich." The receipt is dated March 9, 1894.

Maybury, Detroit, Mich." The receiver was "Tax Collector, Brookville, Fla." The receipt is dated March 21, 1890.

One postcard announcement concerning an upcoming property sale due to unpaid taxes. The postcard was addressed in handwritten black ink text to "Henry Maybury, 91 Baker St., Detroit." This address was crossed out and replaced with "Pt. Tampa City, Fla.," and a "Forwarded" stamp was placed near the right side of the card. Preprinted text on the verso explained the current tax laws and indicated that the card was sent by "C. M. Burton" of "Burton Abstract of Title." Handwritten text noted that property being advertised for sale due to unpaid taxes was the "S 1/2 Lot 1, Blk [Block] 61, Baker farm." (Presumably, this was the property that was located at 91 Baker Street.)

Hollingsworth, Tourist Photographer, Lafayette St., opp. Tampa Bay Hotel, Tampa, Fla."

One postcard with the addressee's name shown in handwritten blue ink on the front, "Miss Madge C. Maybury, Detroit, Michigan, 24th Street one block south of Baker, % Capt. Geo. Burtchell." The message on the verso was handwritten in blue ink by Henry Maybury to his daughter, Madge [Margaret]. It reads "Tampa, 3-16-'87; Dear Madge, We recd. your letter and would answer only for the reason that we would be in D [Detroit] shortly after this postal. We will be in D April 1st or perhaps before, will telegraph Harry from Cincinnati. The weather is cool & delightful and all are well. We feel sorry that business compels us to return so soon. We will stay and bring you some change blossoms & ros
