Scope & Content Trade card advertising the "Improved Family Singer Sewing Machine." An illustration of the sewing machine beneath the text, "Latest and Best," is show on the recto surrounded by a color patchwork pattern. A block of text about the machine, concluding with the address for the Singer Manufacturing Company at 191 Woodward Avenue, is on the verso surrounded by a stitch guide showing "100 Crazy Patchwork Stiches." The card is patented July 1, 1884.
